This gentleman refuses to play in Russia due to some crazy political reasons. I think he is write. Let's help russians keeping their country clear from garbage music! 
And what is the position? If you are an artist - just play the music! Nobody cares that you are heroin addicted or crazy or important or alcoholist - people would like to listen the music but not hear your childish political message. And I have to mention that the music is not the best one... Please, do not contaminate Russia with second hand country style, fly to Colorado or Aklahoma instead! Every train has its own passengers.
