From
here.
An
experimental cancer treatment that generated a lot of excitement last
year when it was shown to work in adults, is showing equal promise in
children.
The
treatment uses a patient's own immune cells to kill cancer. It's
being tested now in 12 patients with advanced leukemia: 10 adults,
and two children. Researchers say nine of the patients have responded
to the therapy, including both pediatric patients.
I
really hope it will work! Otherwise the following pic fro here will
be a bad illustration of the situation:
Somebody also proposed to use cancer in order to treat AIDS. Who knows?
