Sometimes you can read a news which implies that something very-very serious is planning to be presented very soon, something which intuitively implies has something to do with a novel breakthrough in science and technology, something which in a couple of weeks/months/years will replace the whole modern understanding of ontology. Here is the nice example of this kind of news:
Adimab LLC (Lebanon, N.H.) and Mersana Therapeutics Inc. (Cambridge, Mass.) partnered to offer integrated access to Adimab's yeast-based antibody discovery technology and Mersana's antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) platform. Mersana's ADC platform consists of the company's Fleximer polymer technology and customizable linkers for attaching payloads. Details were not disclosed.
Well, I am very impressed! Everybody who works in drug discovery has to be scared of the competition delivered by this partnering. And I think the most impressive part of the article is”Details were not disclosed.” I would like to wish them a success with integrated access, antibodies, ADC platform and linkers – but, please, do not scare me again with such kind of news!
