March 27 (Reuters) - Targacept said an
experimental drug proved effective in a mid-stage asthma trial, but failed to
meet the main goal in another trial for type 2 diabetes.
Well, a
nice idea to conduct different clinical trials simultaneously! Think that the similar
approach was used to find the magic action of Viagra! Why didn’t test the drug against tens
different types of cancer, AD, Parkinson’s, etc? It could hit somewhere!
